The Atrium will be closing from Friday 3rd April until Monday 6th, reopening at 9am on Tuesday 7th. This means that the Careers Service, International Programmes Office and Information, Advice and Guidance Team will all be closed, as well as most other university services across campus.
If you’re living in University Halls, a duty tutor will still be available 24 hours a day. They can help with maintenance issues, and any other general concerns or problems.
If you have an emergency on campus you can ring the University’s security team on 0161 306 9966. You should also ring 999 if there is an emergency, both on and off campus. If you have a medical issue that is not an emergency call the NHS on 111.
The Student Support and Money Advisers will be running appointments next Tuesday 7th and Thursday 9th and drop ins from 10am – 12 and 2 – 4pm on Wednesday 8th. The Samaritans answer phone calls 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. If you need to speak to someone you can call them on 08457 90 90 90, or email firstname.lastname@example.org. You can also visit them, the nearest branch to the University is located at 72-74 Oxford Road and they are open from 8.30am – 8.30pm. Find out more here.
