From 16th – 20th March it is Mental Health Awareness and Exam Extra Week in The Atrium and iZone, University Place.
There are a range of activities and lot’s of information available throughout the week for students.
In The Atrium the Student Support Advisor will be running drop-in sessions for students to disscuss their well-being, any academic issues they may be experiencing, revision and study problems and any other pastoral concerns. These will be taking place on Monday, Wednesday and Friday between 10 am – 12 pm and 2 pm – 4 pm.
In the iZone there will lots of resources regarding mental health and the support services available for students. We’ll also be giving away study packs containing a stress ball, pen, study tips and a snack! So be sure to drop by!
There will be a Time To Talk Coffee Morning in The Atrium on Friday 20th between 10 am and 2 pm. As well enjoying some refreshments, the idea is to get students thinking and talking about mental health issues – it is the chance to raise awareness of Time To Change and mental health as important, yet sometimes overlooked, issue at University!
