We all know that going out with our friends makes us feel happier and more relaxed. That’s why it’s really important to make time to see your friends even when you’re snowed under with essays and revision. All the other activities we’re focusing on during Wellbeing Week, such as exercise and eating well, are much more fun when enjoyed with a friend.
Manchester has so much to offer students. It’s a fairly cheap city and it’s easy to find your way around. There’s lots going on but it’s not so big that you’ll spend all day on the bus or the tram actually getting to places. Some of my favourite places to visit round Manchester are:
- The Northern Quarter cafes
- The Imperial War Museum and Salford Quays
- Central Library and John Rylands Library
- The Arndale and The Trafford Centre
- Royal Exchange Theatre
- Christmas Markets
