Eating well makes you look and feel well. A healthy balanced diet will make you feel less tired. Fruit and veg are packed with vitamins that will stop you succumbing to coughs and colds, and they’re really cheap. Why not try the 5 a Day Challenge? Try and eat at least 5 portions of fruit & veg every day for a week. Visit the NHS website and Just Say Yes to Fruits and Vegetables for some tips to easily get your 5 a day and see how good you could feel.
Cooking is a good way to relax at the end of the day. It can also be a fun and social activity. It can be a great way to make friends in halls too; organise a Come Dine With Me week where everyone takes it in turns to cook each night. The BBC Good Food website has lots of easy, nutritious recipes for you to try. Or check out the Budget recipes section on this blog (LINK).
