This month saw the Atrium team put together a week-long series of events for National Student Money Week. The range of activities included Money MOTs (giving you the opportunity to have a financial check- up and to learn about how best to budget your student loan), a money-saving tip tree where you could share some advice and win a prize, a supermarket challenge where you had to guess the price of a basket of groceries, one non-branded and one branded, as well as online competitions including a money quiz and a debt and wellbeing quiz! We would like to thank all of you who took part, we hoped you enjoyed it! Lots of you got involved and six of you won prizes, from a basket of groceries to a piggy bank with £30 in loose change. We had some great money-saving tips put up on our money tree with the winning tip being: “Don’t be ashamed to buy clothes in charity shops. It’s great and you can get a bargain.”
National Student Money Week will be back next year so keep an eye out for the chance to get involved!
